About the role:
The in-house Bookkeeper oversees all matters of day-to-day accounting, finance, fiscal planning and tax preparation for our our company.
This role requires that you have proper education and working experience on all relevant accounting, tax, and control issues.  Due to the level of access required, this position reports directly to the CEO.

Location: Doral, Florida (In - Person)
Compensation: $40,000 - $45,000 Annually + PLUS BENEFITS
Available Shift: 9:00am to 5:00pm EST - Monday to Friday.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for all bookkeeping, banking reconciliation, A/R & A/P management, tax prep, payroll review, and monthly- and year-closings
• For more complex tax and year closing issues, we use support from our external tax advisors
• Suggest solutions and introduce internal control procedures.
• Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions
• Recording of debits and credits in the accounting system
• Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transaction
• Use knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements
• Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function (including reviewing, coding, and processing payments)
• Perform account receivable functions (including invoicing, deposits, collections,
• Revenue recognition, monitor any variances from the projected budget
• Accounting for payroll transactions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-REQUIRED- 

• Bilingual (English AND Spanish) REQUIRED
• MINIMUM Bachelor’s degree or comparable level of education.
• MINIMUM 2+ years of experience as manager of accounting, finance, controller, or equivalent level position
• EXPERT LEVEL understanding and practices in Quickbooks
• You are experienced in the processes of bookkeeping, payroll, and monthly- and year-closing.
  
• Ability to identify and recognize the risks that could harm our business and activities. 
• Demonstrated ability to successfully present financial goals, plans, and objectives to financial institutions and the C-Suite.
• Able to efficiently use financial data mining analysis tools
