We are excited to announce that the Quality Assurance Department at our company has opened additional positions for a QA Assistant.
This is a great opportunity to become an essential part of our QA process. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the sanitation and processing crews, developing and maintaining our systems to ensure compliance with all Food Safety Standards. The ideal candidate must be able to pass a Government criminal background check, work in a refrigerated warehouse, and be able to stand for long hours.

Responsibilities:
- The Quality Assurance Assistant will support the Quality Assurance Department in leading, driving, and maintaining HACCP, SSOP, product specifications, and label/audit requirements.
- Responsible for QA activities such as weighing, measuring, and inspecting the seafood fillets, including taking pictures of the product and completing product reports.
- Implement HACCP programs and maintain HACCP records for all products received, processed, and packed/repacked at this facility.
- Implement GMP and SSOP in meeting regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
- Communicate with operations and sales teams in meeting quality standards and labeling requirements.
- Communicate daily QC report to the management team and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain HACCP, sanitation, and labeling standards in meeting USDC QM.
- Maintain a positive attitude and constantly look for opportunities for improvement.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures in a refrigerated warehouse.
- Be a role model in projecting and applying the company's Philosophy and promote teamwork at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Available Shifts: Monday to Saturday. ** Sunday off **
Compensation: $560 per week.
Worksite Location: Miami, FL 33166. (Located within Miami International Airport)
Work Environment: Refrigerated Warehouse (Temperature: 36-45 deg. F)
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in general labor, warehouse, or other related fields.
- Must be able to pass a Government Criminal Background check (Run by Customs & Border Patrol)
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to work in a refrigerated warehouse (Temp. 36-45 deg. F).
- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Knowledge of USDA, NACMCF, and HACCP regulations.
- Ability to read numbers and labels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to reach, bend, and move around the facility.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Strong work ethic.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Be able to stand on foot for long hours.
