Role Overview

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing user interfaces and crafting user experiences for our eCommerce platforms, particularly, WordPress and Shopify.

You are a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer with a strong background in designing for eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics, an understanding of user behavior, and the technical skills and testing strategies to implement designs effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and responsive user interfaces for Shopify and WordPress websites.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups based on user requirements and business objectives.
• Conduct user research and analyze customer feedback to improve UI/UX.
  Collaborate with developers, marketers, and stakeholders to enhance the overall user experience.
• Optimize website designs for conversion rate optimization (CRO) and SEO best practices.
• Work with developers, SEO specialist, digital marketing strategist and site merchandiser to optimize user experience
  Ensure consistency in branding, typography, and color schemes across digital platforms.
• Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback and data-driven insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in B2C eCommerce goods.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify and WordPress customization and theme design.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript (a plus).
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and usability testing.
  
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing work on Shopify and WordPress.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and web accessibility guidelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with a user-first mindset.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English (verbal and written).

Work Schedule
