Role Overview:
In this role, you will perform critical accounting functions within our construction operations, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and process improvements. You will serve as the go-to resource for Deltek Costpoint, ensuring our financial records are precise and contributing to the operational success of project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all functions within Deltek Costpoint, ensuring accurate system configuration and data integrity.
- Handle full-cycle Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), and Payroll
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets in collaboration with project managers.
- Lead the creation and management of company-wide budgets, aligning with strategic financial goals.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports using Costpoint, providing monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc insights to leadership.
- Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Act as a liaison with the operations team to align financial activities with operational performance.
- Serve as a Project Manager (PM) to monitor and ensure operations are fulfilling project and contract requirements.
- Ensure proper access to and compliance with government systems, including GSA, WAWF, IPP, and SBA portals.
- Implement and uphold internal controls and drive process improvements in financial operations and reporting.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience with Deltek Costpoint accounting software is essential.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, including previous work within a construction or project-based environment.
- Strong knowledge of AP, AR, reconciliations, and general ledger processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to prioritise tasks.
- High degree of professionalism and ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard office software.
Compensation & Benefits
- $70,000-85,000 annually
