Role Overview
The manufacturing operations coordinator is responsible for releasing and scheduling batch tickets from POs, managing material inventory, and coordinating material flow to ensure uninterrupted production. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience in manufacturing or production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Batch ticket management: Release and schedule manufacturing orders (batch tickets) based on POs
- Coordinate with us to prioritize PO items and schedule accordingly
- Follow up with production floor managers for batch ticket ETAs and updates.
- Issue materials to batch tickets and track inventory movement from the warehouse to production.
- Monitor low inventory levels (raw materials, packaging, hardware, terpenes,
distillate). - Set and maintain safety stock levels.
- Identify critical materials and notify purchasing of low or out-of-stock items.
- Issue POs to us to maintain weekly distillate stock + safety buffer.
- Coordinate material transfers from off-site storage locations or vendors to avoid production delays.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team for timely physical material transfers.
- Communicate with purchasing, production, and warehouse shipping/receiving teams.
- Liaise with the project managers for white-label production updates
and scheduling. - Maintain status updates on white-label projects via a Monday.com board.
- Coordinate time tests, material receipts, and project ETAs.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, production coordination, or supply chain roles
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with inventory systems, production scheduling, and ERP platforms (Acumatica a plus)
- Proficiency with tools like Monday.com, Excel, and email communication
- Ability to problem-solve and act quickly to avoid production disruptions
Compensation & Benefits
- $55 000-60,000
