As a Territory Marketing Representative, you will lead merchandising efforts, deliver impactful education, and gather actionable data to boost brand visibility and retailer partnerships. Key Responsibilities:
Merchandising & POS Placement
Lead on-brand POS audits and optimizations across Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts within your assigned territory.
Ensure every store maintains a minimum of two core branded displays and two general items, such as flyers or menus.
Collaborate with Key Account Managers for premium Tier 1 placements and Field Sales & Marketing Representatives for Tier 2 setups to maximize shelf space.
Store Visits & Relationship Building
Conduct routine, high-quality visits to accounts for inventory checks, pricing analysis, and competitor tracking.
Build deep rapport with budtenders and managers, logging all activities and insights into Outfield to inform cross-team strategies.
Coordinate joint visits with sales teams to enhance unified feedback loops and strategic relationship management.
Budtender Training & Incentives
Deliver a minimum of 20 training sessions per month focused on product benefits, brand story, and incentives.
Promote engagement programs like Spark Plugs to drive recommendations and brand loyalty.
Partner with KAMs and FSMRs to achieve a 50% quarterly participation rate in joint incentive programs.
Promotions, Events & In-Store Demos
Schedule and execute territory promotions, including Patient Appreciation Days, ghost promotions, and Take Overs.
Execute in-store demos to reinforce merchandising and engage consumers for direct purchase conversions.
Recommend 2-3 consumer-facing events quarterly, ensuring full compliance with cannabis laws.
Inventory & Asset Management
Monitor inventory during visits to maintain Out-of-Stock rates at 10% or lower.
Communicate order needs promptly to sales representatives when inventory is low or approaching OOS.
Track and maintain marketing materials with monthly updates, reporting all supply issues to HQ.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
Experience: 3+ years in field marketing, merchandising, or retail; cannabis sector knowledge is a plus.
Abilities: Exceptional communication and training skills with an analytical, detail-oriented mindset.
Travel: Extensive territory travel (up to 75% of the time), including overnight stays and occasional nights/weekends.

Salary: $50,000 base + bonus
Fully Remote | Based in Columbus, Ohio (Travel required)
Full-time | Monday to Friday | 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
