About the Position

Our Accounting Assistant will have the opportunity to provide essential support to our financial operations, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable. This position will be located in our office and involves working independently and collaboratively with the accounting team.

We are looking for someone with a commitment to excellence, strong attention to detail, and a positive, collaborative attitude. The ideal candidate must be willing to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Assist with the processing of accounts payable, including invoices, payments, and reconciliations.

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment or invoice discrepancies.

• Utilize QuickBooks for accounting tasks.

• Perform other administrative and accounting tasks as requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).

• Accounting experience is required (experience within the floral industry is a plus).

• Minimum 1 year of experience is preferred.

• QuickBooks experience or knowledge is required.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Pay: Starting from $17.00 per hour

Available Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Must be able to work rotating Saturdays from 7:00 AM–12:00 PM. Must also be available to work three consecutive weeks (7 days per week) during both the Valentine’s and Mother’s Day seasons.
