Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Coordinator to support our operations team in managing supply chain, logistics, and procurement activities. This remote role will involve project management and coordination across key operational functions, with a focus on collaborating on demand planning, sourcing and procurement, cash flow planning, vendor & manufacturer relationships and leading vendor onboarding processes. Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager and VP of Operations, you will work closely with the operations team, including the Production Managers, Supply Chain Analyst Admin, and Warehouse Operations Manager. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment within the CPG sector.
Key Responsibilities
Project manage and coordinate all aspects of supply chain, logistics, and procurement to ensure timely and efficient operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on demand planning and cash flow forecasting to align with production needs and financial goals.
Lead the end-to-end process for setting up new vendors, including vetting, contract negotiations, compliance checks, and integration into our systems (e.g., Acumatica ERP).
Monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and resolve logistical issues.
Support operational efficiency initiatives by analyzing processes, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending improvements in procurement and supply chain workflows.
Create automations within ERP systems to enhance planning capabilities, such as demand forecasting and inventory management.
Work within Google Sheets, our ERP (Acumatica), and project management platforms to streamline data handling and reporting.
Utilize AI tools for generating insights and leveraging AI in day-to-day processes to optimize operations and decision-making.
Prepare reports and dashboards on key metrics such as vendor performance, procurement costs, and supply chain timelines.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among the operations team, ensuring alignment on priorities and deadlines.
Assist in regulatory compliance efforts related to supply chain activities, adhering to industry standards for CPG, packaging, vaporization devices, supplements, and raw materials.
Contribute to strategic projects, such as scaling production for new launches and expanding into new markets.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
6+ years of experience in operations coordination, supply chain, logistics, or procurement, preferably in consumer goods, manufacturing, or regulated industries.
Strong project management skills with proficiency in tools like Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar.
ERP experience and expertise is a must; knowledge of Acumatica is a plus.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate remotely across teams.
Proven ability to handle vendor relationships, including setup, negotiation, and performance monitoring.
Familiarity with demand planning, cash flow management, and inventory control principles.
Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis and reporting (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).
Experience creating automations in ERP systems and using AI tools for operational insights and process optimization.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining accountability and meeting deadlines.
Passion for the CPG industry and understanding of regulatory considerations (e.g., compliance with product standards for supplements and raw materials) is preferred.
