Position Purpose

The Production Coordinator will take charge of overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production line and our production teams. This crucial role involves managing production schedules, coordinating team activities, ensuring compliance with safety & quality standards, and driving process improvements to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Oversight: Manage and coordinate production activities to meet weekly and monthly targets, ensuring timely and cost-effective production.

• Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality checks to ensure product standards are met consistently and drive initiatives for continuous quality improvement.

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop production teams to enhance performance and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Process Optimization: Identify and eliminate production inefficiencies by analysing workflows and implementing innovative solutions for process improvements.

• Safety Management: Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimise waste and reduce production downtime.

• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Quality Assurance, and Logistics to optimise production operations.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in production leadership.

• Prior experience or familiarity in manufacturing of smoking products in PREFERRED.

• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.

• Proven experience in process improvement and production optimization techniques.

• Solid understanding of quality control principles and safety regulations.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in using production and inventory management software.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Compensation

• $45,760 annual salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
