Warehouse Supervisor in Fort Lauderdale

Position Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfilment, shipping, and team coordination. This role ensures that warehouse operations are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures, cGMP requirements, health and safety standards, and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, organise, and support warehouse team members to ensure daily operational targets are achieved.
Coordinate the receipt, inspection, labelling, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and other inventory items.
Ensure inventory is stored correctly and maintained in accordance with company procedures, including applicable temperature, security, and segregation requirements.
Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock checks, and regular reconciliation of physical inventory against system records.
Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, shortages, overages, and other operational issues.
Maintain accurate warehouse records, including receiving documents, transfer records, shipping documentation, lot tracking, and inventory adjustments.
Ensure products and materials are managed using appropriate stock rotation practices, including FIFO and FEFO where applicable.
Coordinate with Production, Quality & Compliance, Purchasing, Sales, and Finance to support uninterrupted operations.
Schedule and prioritise daily warehouse activities based on production, fulfilment, and shipping requirements.
Train, coach, and provide feedback to warehouse team members on procedures, performance, safety, and quality expectations.
Promote a clean, organised, and professional warehouse environment in accordance with 5S principles and company standards.
Ensure the safe operation and proper care of warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, shelving, scales, and other material-handling equipment.
Support the implementation and improvement of warehouse processes, systems, and standard operating procedures.
Ensure compliance with cGMP, OSHA, company policies, security procedures, and all applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
Escalate operational, safety, quality, or staffing concerns to management in a timely manner.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Previous supervisory or lead experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or fulfilment environment.
Minimum of 3 years of warehouse, inventory, logistics, or related operational experience.
Experience with receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and warehouse documentation.
Strong understanding of warehouse safety, material handling, stock rotation, and inventory accuracy practices.
Experience working in a regulated, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food, health, or consumer packaged goods environment is preferred.
Knowledge of cGMP, OSHA, and workplace health and safety requirements is preferred.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with inventory management or enterprise resource planning systems is an advantage.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple operational requirements.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and commitment to operational excellence.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment is preferred.
