Role Overview

The Director of Finance will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial aspects of our Family Office, in which we focus on managing a multi-family real estate investment portfolio. This role includes developing financial strategies, ensuring robust financial operations, and supporting decision-making processes that enhance our business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Planning: Lead the development of financial strategies to support the company's growth and asset management goals.
• Investment Analysis: Oversee financial due diligence and investment analysis to optimise asset acquisition and portfolio performance.
• Budget Oversight: Manage and oversee the development and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with industry regulations.
• Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them while ensuring compliance with legal and financial regulations.
• Process Enhancement: Implement financial process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in finance, with a strong background in multi-family real estate or family office investment practice.
• Diverse knowledge of financial regulations and real estate industry practices.
• High level understanding of multi-state taxation & filings
• Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.

Compensation

• $125,000 to $145,000 annual salary, dependent on experience and qualifications.
