Role Objective

The Senior Auditor will play an integral role in delivering high-quality audit services to our diverse client base. This position involves leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and offering strategic insights to enhance business operations.

Essential Job Duties

• Audit Leadership: Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, execution, and completion, to ensure objectives are met with accuracy and timeliness.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all audit activities are conducted in accordance with the relevant accounting and auditing standards.
• Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing valuable audit insights and recommendations.
• Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate risks within the client's financial and operational processes, and develop effective audit strategies to address these risks.
• Team Collaboration: Mentor and guide junior auditors, fostering a supportive team environment that encourages professional development.
• Continuous Improvement: Propose enhancements to audit methodologies and best practices, striving for efficiency and quality improvement.
• Reporting: Prepare comprehensive audit reports that clearly and concisely present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Regulatory Updates: Stay informed of changes in legislation and accounting standards that impact audit processes and client advisories.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting with significant progress toward completing the CPA exam.
• CPA License a plus.
• MINIMUM 2+ years of experience in a public accounting setting
• Demonstrable, noteworthy accounting and auditing knowledge.
• Multi-industry experience a plus (construction, manufacturing, small business, healthcare, technology, non-profit, government, benefit plans, etc.).
• PPC Smart and CCH ProSystem FX experience a plus.
• Value teamwork and know the power of building strong relationships.
• Professional communication skills and ability to think and work independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with clients and team members.

Compensation Details

• Base Salary Range: $75,000 to $95,000 annual salary
