Currently, we hold a $700m+ portfolio of multifamily assets under management as well as investments in other areas of real estate such as industrial and commercial. Role Overview
The Director of Finance will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial aspects of our Family Office, in which we focus on managing a multi-family real estate investment portfolio. This role includes developing financial strategies, ensuring robust financial operations, and supporting decision-making processes that enhance our business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Planning: Lead the development of financial strategies to support the company's growth and asset management goals.
- Investment Analysis: Oversee financial due diligence and investment analysis to optimise asset acquisition and portfolio performance.
- Budget Oversight: Manage and oversee the development and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with industry regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them while ensuring compliance with legal and financial regulations.
- Process Enhancement: Implement financial process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
- A minimum of 7+ years of experience in finance, with a strong background in multi-family real estate or family office investment practice.
- Diverse knowledge of financial regulations and real estate industry practices.
- High level understanding of multi-state taxation & filings
- Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.

Compensation
- $125,000 to $145,000 annual salary, dependent on experience and qualifications.
