Position Overview
We are seeking two highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerks to join our fast-growing laboratory environment in Fort Lauderdale. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity of our supply chain, ensuring that all incoming raw materials—specifically chemicals and sensitive products—are handled, logged, and stored according to strict regulatory standards.
We are looking for professionals who thrive in a structured environment and understand the high stakes of laboratory safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Incoming Inspection: Receive and inspect all incoming shipments (chemicals, laboratory supplies, and produce) for damage and accuracy against purchase orders.
Regulatory Compliance: Strictly follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for the handling and storage of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
Inventory Documentation: Maintain precise digital and physical logs of all materials; assist in periodic inventory audits and cycle counts.
Safety Protocols: Ensure all chemical shipments are accompanied by proper documentation (SDS) and stored in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
Logistics Coordination: Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling, palletizing, and coordinating with freight carriers to ensure timely delivery.
Facility Support: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving dock and warehouse area.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of Receiving experience is a must.
Specialized Knowledge: Prior experience handling chemicals, raw materials, or produce is highly preferred.
Compliance Mindset: Proven ability to follow complex SOPs and GMP guidelines without deviation.
Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal) is required for safety documentation and communication with laboratory staff.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic computer systems and Warehouse Management Software (WMS).
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active on your feet for the duration of the shift.

Compensation
Industry: Specialized Laboratory / Regulated Manufacturing
Compensation: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour (Based on experience)
