Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our operations team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily warehouse functions, ensuring safe and efficient receipt, storage, inventory control and dispatch of goods. The successful candidate will be dependable, safety-conscious and able to lead a team in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
Team supervision: Lead, coach and schedule warehouse staff, including pickers, packers and forklift operators; promote a positive, collaborative and safe work culture.
Operational management: Oversee receiving, put-away, picking, packing and shipping activities to meet productivity, accuracy and on-time delivery targets.
Inventory control: Manage stock accuracy through cycle counts, investigations of discrepancies and reconciliation; support annual stock takes and reporting.
Health & safety: Ensure compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements; conduct routine safety audits and toolbox talks; report and investigate incidents.
Equipment & facility: Coordinate maintenance and safe operation of warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, conveyors) and maintain clean, organised work areas.
Process improvement: Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce waste and increase efficiency; implement best-practice procedures and train staff accordingly.
Performance monitoring: Track KPIs (accuracy, productivity, on-time shipments) and prepare regular reports for management; implement corrective actions where needed.
Order management support: Assist with resolving order exceptions, damaged goods and urgent customer requirements; liaise with operations, quality and customer service teams.
Compliance & documentation: Maintain accurate records of goods received, shipped and stored; ensure documentation for temperature-controlled or regulated products is completed where applicable.
Qualifications
Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in a warehouse or distribution environment with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory control and best-practice stock management (FIFO/FEFO).
Experience operating or supervising forklift and material handling equipment; valid forklift licence preferred.
Competent with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic MS Office tools; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Excellent communication, organisational and coaching skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Comfortable working in temperature-controlled environments where required and able to undertake physical tasks as needed.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to health & safety standards.

Location
Role based at our warehouse in Fort Lauderdale. Shift patterns may include early mornings, evenings or weekend cover as required.
