Job Overview
We are seeking an organised and proactive Inventory Control Clerk to join our Fort Lauderdale warehouse team. The successful candidate will maintain inventory accuracy, coordinate stock movements, support cycle counts and investigate discrepancies to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment. This on-site role works closely with Receiving, Shipping, Procurement and Customer Experience teams to keep operations running smoothly.
Required Qualifications:
1–3 years' experience in inventory control, warehouse or fulfilment roles preferred.
Basic computer skills and comfort using inventory or order management systems (WMS/ERP).
Strong attention to detail with an organised, process-driven approach.
Ability to work on-site, stand and lift regularly (up to 25 kg) following safe manual handling practices.
Good communication skills and ability to follow written procedures and SOPs.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Accuracy: Maintain accurate stock records by performing regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies and updating the WMS. Investigate variances and implement corrective actions.
Receiving & Putaway: Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspect for damage, record received quantities and ensure correct putaway to designated locations.
Stock Movements: Process transfers, adjustments and returns in the inventory system; ensure locations are organised and labelled correctly.
Order Support: Assist fulfilment teams by reserving stock, releasing backorders and supporting picking/packing as required to meet service levels.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare inventory reports, maintain count sheets, and communicate findings to Warehouse leadership and Procurement.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure stock is stored and handled according to company procedures and quality standards; support audits and compliance activities.
Equipment & Housekeeping: Operate pallet jacks and basic warehouse equipment safely; maintain a clean and organised stockroom and storage areas.
Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements to increase inventory accuracy and efficiency, and participate in implementation of best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience with handheld scanners and basic WMS or inventory tools preferred.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks.
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Basic numeracy and comfortable using spreadsheet software for simple reporting.
Forklift licence is a plus but not required (training may be provided).

$23.00 - $24.00 an hour
