Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Fulfilment Associate to join our operations team. This hands-on role supports day-to-day warehouse activities including picking, packing, receiving and dispatch to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Shipping Manager, Inventory Control and production teams to maintain stock accuracy, meet productivity targets and uphold health and safety standards. Reasonable adjustments will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Key Responsibilities
Pick and pack customer orders accurately according to packing lists, pick tickets and quality standards.
Prepare parcels and pallets for dispatch, label shipments correctly and stage for carrier collection.
Receive inbound deliveries, verify quantities and condition of goods, and record receipts in the warehouse system.
Perform regular cycle counts and participate in full stocktakes; investigate and report inventory discrepancies.
Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet trucks, forklifts) where certified and required.
Maintain clean, organised and safe work areas in line with company procedures and PPE requirements.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality checks to ensure product integrity and correct documentation.
Assist with returns processing and quarantine procedures for damaged or non-conforming goods.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting and implementing process enhancements to boost efficiency and accuracy.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to prioritise urgent orders and meet customer service targets.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfilment or logistics role preferred.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills with a strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software is advantageous.
Good organisational skills and the ability to work under direction in a fast-paced environment.
Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks; ability to lift and carry up to 25 kg with assistance or mechanical aid.
Strong team ethic, reliable attendance and a positive, safety-first attitude.
Willingness to work flexible hours when required, including occasional early starts or extended shifts during peak periods.
Physical & Safety Requirements
Frequent standing, walking and manual handling of packages and pallets.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to warehouse safety protocols at all times.
Ability to work in varied temperature environments typical of warehouse and loading areas.
Compensation & Schedule
Hourly rate: $620 a week.
Working hours: Monday–Friday standard hours with occasional early starts or extended shifts during peak periods
